What is the MedFit Education Foundation?

The MedFit Education Foundation is 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving the quantity and quality of education for fitness professionals to safely and effectively work with clients with chronic disease, medical conditions and the aging population. The MedFit mission is to create a world where the millions of people with chronic disease, medical conditions & disabilities have access to the same fitness resources as the healthy and fit.

What is the refund policy?

If you need to cancel your registration, you may do so anytime before September 30, 2025, for a full refund or transfer your registration to someone else at no charge. If you cancel after September 30, 2025, you will receive a refund, less a $25 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after October 21, 2025. Contact us for details.

Who should attend?

This event is ideal for anyone in the fitness and health industry! Personal trainers and group fitness instructors, physical therapists and healthcare professionals, gym owners and studio operators... anyone interested in medical fitness!

If I can’t attend live, will the recordings be available?

Yes, your registration includes 6 month access to all session recordings. (Excludes Code Blue screening; only available during the live broadcast)

Can I earn CEUs for attending?

Yes, continuing education units (CEUs) are available for attending the conference. The event is approved for up to the following credit amounts - ACE: 3.0, NASM: 1.9, ISSA: 20, NESTA: 6.9, and NCSF: 83. Please see the CEU FAQ below for more info.

Will I have the opportunity to ask questions?

Many sessions will include live Q&A opportunities where you can interact with presenters and ask questions in real time. If your question is not able to be answered during the live presentation, we will pass it along to the presenter to get back to you.

How do the sessions work exactly?

All sessions will start PROMPTLY at their scheduled time. You may jump around to other sessions scheduled at the same time as well.

Technical issues: My video quality of the sessions is choppy and/or pixelated...why?

The quality of the session playback is entirely tied to your internet connection. Please ensure you are connected via a high-speed connection without any other applications running in the background to ensure the highest quality sound and video. We also highly recommend you restart your computer or device prior to attending the conference.

How do I earn my CEC/CEUs?

The week of the virtual conference AND every day of the conference we'll send you a full CEC/CEU excel file/spreadsheet that houses all the education sessions. You can either use the printable version or the excel file to mark each session you attend. Once completed, email your form back to succeed@fbafitness.com. Our events and education team will review your participation and issue your certificate in a matter of days!

Do I have to watch every session to earn all the CEC/CEUs?

You must watch the total number of hours that matches the CEC/CEU points you seek to earn from your certifying organization. Contact us if you need guidance with your grid.

How long do I have to earn my CEC/CEUs?

You have until the end of 2025.

Are there tests?

No tests at all for CEC/CEUs. Continuing education is based on attendance.

When do I get my certificate of achievement?

Once we receive your completed session document, we'll promptly send your Certificate of Achievement. You do not need to do anything on your end, we'll handle it all!

What do I send to my certifying organization to get credit?

We recommend sending your certificate of achievement. Your certificate will also include a provider number to use when claiming your CEC/CEUs.
