
Jason Blonshine, MBA, BSRC, RRT, RPFT, is a respiratory and metabolic testing specialist focused on ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and real-world application of physiologic data. His work centers on a simple principle: data only matters if it is both accurate and actionable.
With extensive experience in pulmonary function and cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET), Jason has worked globally supporting respiratory and metabolic testing quality for clinical trials and research laboratories. His expertise includes laboratory quality systems, biologic quality control, and ensuring research-grade testing standards across diverse clinical environments.
Jason is also the co-founder of Metatec, where he helps translate advanced testing—including DEXA body composition, resting metabolic rate (RMR), and VO₂ max testing—into practical insights that help individuals improve health, performance, and longevity.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care and an MBA from Boise State University, and maintains professional credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT), along with certification as a NASM Nutrition Coach. Jason has presented at international conferences including the European Respiratory Society (ERS) and has contributed to multiple publications related to pulmonary function testing quality and clinical research.
