Krista Oakes is an author, speaker, and wellness educator with more than 20 years of experience teaching yoga and mindfulness practices. She specializes in chair yoga, gentle yoga, meditation, and mindful movement for older adults and diverse populations. Krista is an E-RYT with Yoga Alliance, an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, and an ISSA Certified Health Coach. She is the author of "Shedding Shame: Finding Freedom to Live an Authentic Life" and is known for making movement and mindfulness accessible, practical, and empowering. Through both online and in-person teaching, she helps individuals and professionals integrate safe, supportive practices that enhance mobility, reduce stress, and support healthy aging.
