Dr. Scott Gaines brings over 25 years of fitness industry experience as Senior Vice President of the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) and Professor of Anatomy & Physiology and Biology at Concordia University, Irvine, where he serves as Medical Science Program Director.

Dr. Gaines specializes in translating cutting-edge scientific research into practical applications for fitness professionals. He oversees the development of NESTA's continuing education programs and is a sought-after national speaker on biomechanics, cardiovascular program design, and the emerging field of healthspan optimization. His unique ability to bridge complex cellular biology with real-world coaching strategies has made him a leader in evidence-based fitness education.

His educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy from Curtin University, a Master's Degree in Human Movement with an emphasis in Corrective Exercise from A.T. Still University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. Beyond academics, Dr. Gaines is a 4th-degree black belt and Certified Master Instructor (Sa-Bom) in Tang Soo Do, bringing a holistic understanding of movement and longevity practices.
