The stroke survivor’s journey is not complete after their medical recovery and rehabilitation. Evidence shows there is much more progress that survivors can make even years after their strokes. Trainers who understand the neurology and unique aspects of how the injured brain works can give the stroke survivor tools to get more effective results from their training.

Get an overview of stroke and the neurology behind the dysfunctions seen in the gym plus hands-on demonstrations that you can immediately apply that illuminate how powerful the nervous system is and how specific sensory and motor training approaches can be used to make tremendous changes.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn basic information regarding stroke (causes, types, common presentations, training concerns)
  • Understand Neuroplasticity and how to implement it, and basic Neuro-Centric Training
  • Learn and practice basic Neuro-Centric Training concepts for stroke survivors
