Colleen leads a movement break session assisted by her Bridges for Parkinson's Parkinson's "fighters". Colleen and "fighters" will lead participants through a mini-warmup demonstrating large-ROM movements critical to "fighting back against Parkinson's" that challenge balance, coordination, agility, cognition and more while increasing cardio output to prepare for the "work phase". Shadow boxing may be included.

This allows participants to experience first hand how beneficial a well-planned exercise program can be for people living with Parkinson's Disease.

Colleen Bridges, M.Ed, NSCA-CPT is a Parkinson’s Fitness Specialist, 2020 MedFit Professional of the Year, Belmont University Occupational Therapy advisory board member, owner of two Rock Steady Boxing affiliates and Bridges for Parkinson's program. She has worked 21 years as a personal trainer, group exercise instructor and fitness consultant specializing in individuals living with Parkinson's Disease.
